  • Outline the differences between the Advance Directive and POLST forms
  • Identify a caregiver's legal obligations regarding advance directive implementation
  • Discuss how to effectively communicate with families who refuse to honor a patient's advance directive
  • Consider how to encourage people from different cultures to use an advance directive and/or POLST form
