Intended Audience
This activity was developed for gastroenterologists, nurses, dieticians, and other clinicians involved in the care of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. 

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Detail the appropriate work-up for suspected exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) in pediatric and adult patients
  • Describe the stepwise approach to treating EPI in pediatric and adult patients
  • Develop treatment plans that include pediatric pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy and nutrition components based on therapy and nutrition components based on therapy goals and individual patient factors
